Labor Bill Rates

I have a requirement to bill labor by job, with a subset of people that need to bill at cost plus 10%. I configured my project as follows:

- Created a rate schedule for job, and added each job with a rate of $0. This is the job rate schedule assigned to the template. The jobs assigned to the people who bill with a markup were not included on this schedule.

- Created a project, and entered job bill rate overrides for each job on the rate schedule. I've done this before with no problem, and did it to avoid the users having to create a new billing schedule for every project.
