Recover access to SL500 after lost password

Our SL500 tape library is not covered by Oracle, but by a 3rd party vendor.

Through time and personnel changes, we have lost track of the root password and our vendor tells us that Oracle no longer supports One Time Password OTP generation for this device.

Does Oracle still support OTP generation for the SL500, or is there a way to generate the OTP for password recovery on our own?
