SEVIS 6.28 Critical Patch Update available in MOS - Patch 24325927

SEVIS Release 6.28 Schema changes, announced on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, went live August 12, 2016.

Campus Solutions SEVIS 6.28 critical patch update 24325927 is available in My Oracle Support.

What does this patch include?:

  1. SEVIS made the decision to move up the release date (originally September 30th) because of an issue many schools reported with Session Start Date causing Registration Events to return an error.  SEVIS resolved this issue by removing the logic at their end that calculates the Current Session Start Date and change the schema to require a value be sent in batch for Registration events. Because this will now be a required value, Oracle responded by updating our processing to include the date (based on the current term start date) in the XML output.
