Denied Requisitions - Is it a bug that you have to save and preview approvals to removed the denied
My agency is using PeopleSoft 9.1.24, People Tools 8.55.08. We have AWE turned on and use Commitment Control.
I have found, when a requisition is denied, our users will create new requisitions because they are unable to remove the denied status. What they expect they would need to do to remove the denied status does not work. These are the steps they would expect to complete:
1. Make the required change on the requisitions (in edit requisition)
2. Budget check
3. Save and Submit
However, when they Save and Submit the requisitions does not Open again and remains in denied status.
I have found a work around for them, which is to make the change and the use Save and Preview Approvals, they then go back into Edit Requisitions and budget check and save and submit. I've attached the Job Aid I created for our end users.
