Add remarks during ship confirmation of sales order

In ship confirmation of sales order my client likes to enter some remarks against each item delivered. How can I do it? I could not find any field in grid area where I can input some remarks of length 60 characters or more. The purpose is to record the item attributes. For example if 200 shirts are delivered then how many was red color , how many blue color etc.
