is there a way for JDE E1 to warn that an employee is going into negative numbers for a PTO DBA?

we use PTO DBA's with PTO available and Accrual DBA's to keep track of employee PTO

Is there a way to have the system warn payroll when an employee is attempting to use more PTO then what is available?

right now the system allows them to go negative, but a report or warning on either a report would be helpful in order to track PTO and not allow the abusers to continue with negative PTO available.
