Why is On Hand Quantity in Material Workbench different (greater) from Availability's On Hand Quantity?

Navigation: Inventory's On-hand Quantity inquiry> Material Workbench form

For a specific stock number, the On Hand quantity figure is different from that of the on hand figure displayed in the Availability form displayed when the Availablity button is clicked.

Hoping for some enlightenment as I am not very familiar though with what setup might be causing this discrepancy in SOH figures.

Appreciate any advise.
