12.1.0.2 Windows 64Bit Standard Edition slower than 12.1.0.1

I am currently testing the 12.1.0.2 Windows 64Bit Standard Edition Two, installed with the latest patchset 23530387.

I compare the tests with version 12.1.0.1 on the same server. Both databases use the same settings and the same test data. On each database one user on a different client computer executes scripts of commands.

The overall performance of 12.1.0.2 is worse than the version 12.1.0.1. As it is only one user it cannot be the new restriction of max. 16 threads contemporarily executed.

- Standard optimizer settings used:

-> Up to 50 % slower

- Switch off features:  alter session set optimizer_adaptive_features=false;  and alter session set optimizer_dynamic_sampling=0;
