I have a Live and Test database running on same server. due to a 3rd party and an Application error

The scenario is a RMAN backup was taken 14 days ago and copied to tape. On the same server I have a Live and Test database. The application provider messed up an upgrade on Live I have been asked to restore the backup from 14 days ago to a new database (called restoredb) on the same server. I cannot do a Duplicate database as there is only 1 day retention on the rman backups. I dont believe I would be able to restore the backup to the same server due to the backup being from the Live database but would
