Looking for an automated way to update Configurator P Rules

We are looking for a more efficient method for updating our configurator P rules when components change in the configuration.  Right now it is a very manual process, going through each rule independently and updating manually.  I did see that the Configurator is not supported by the ECO module.  Are there any other suggestions for a more efficient process?

Change Order (ECO) process is not supported with configured items. ECOs were
designed to work with manufactured items with Bill of Materials (BOMs) -
