Best way to delete instance from unavailable node

Hello everyone, hope everything is fine.

I'm planning to delete a node from my RAC (11.2.0.4.0), but the catch here is that this node is busted - meaning I'm unable to start the instance and use dbca, like all guides I found suggest (like this one).

So, my question is: how should I proceed in this case? Manually remove the relevant thread / logfile / undoTbs and update the node list in the remaining node?
