Prime cost over NBV
Is there anyway to set up depreciation so that the each year the number of periods for depreciation stays the same but the cost basis is the NBV at the beginning of the year?
For example, Asset Cost $12,000 year 1, 60 period straight line depreciation
Year 1 = $200 per period depreciation, annual $2,400. (12000/60 = 200 *12) End of year 1 NBV = $9600
Year 2 = $160 per period depreciation, annual $1920. ( 9600/60 = 160 *12) End of year 2 NBV = $7680 etc
How would I do this?
Thanks
