Gross weight is not showing correctly in Shipping transaction ?

Hi,

I've one delivery and it's got interfaced but the problem is Gross weight of the Deliveries and Contents tabs are showing as different .

Unit weight: 17.62
Order qty: 31

Shipping transaction -Delivery tab -- Gross weight showing as : 542

                                - Content tab-- Gross weight showing as : 546.22

Can you please explain , I'm not aware of this gross weight calculation, Gross weight always should be same in every tab / will it change ?
