Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

I want to understand how does the depreciation work in case of Parent-Child Assets.

Does the parent-child relation create any bottleneck either on Parent or Child Assets as to the life and depreciation rules?
