How to work Translation in GL

Dear All,

I am new in GL, currently I am working on Transalation, we have multiple currency ledgers & now we run translation tell me how we check our translation working fine I mean to say translation data will be correct, Is there any report for check & how we know how many transalation will come  ?? 2nd we have setup in ledger option "Currency Transalation Options" & enter "Period End1004" on default periodho end rate type & "Period Average1004" at default period Average rate type.

If  we are not using historical rates so any issue, we put daily rate only ????
