Depletion Depreciation

Hi All,

My client has stockpiles of product that are classified as an asset and are currently depreciated using a 'Depletion Method' in a legacy system. This calculation is as follows:


Depletion Depreciation = NBV * [Current Months Depletion / (Total Capacity - Cumulative Depletion)]

Is there a way to create this depreciation method in FA (R12)?

The NBV should be calculated by Oracle

The 'Current Months Depletion' will need to be entered monthly

The 'Total Capacity' can be entered as a once off

The 'Cumulative Depletion' should be calculated by Oracle based on the previous months.
