Original Primary datafiles getting deleted after plugging and unplugging then Switchover in 12.1.0.2

In version 12.1.0.2

Problem description:

After creating a pluggable database (PDB) from seed in a container DB which is protected by a pysical standby database, unplugging it, plugging it again in the same container and performing a switchover with DataGuard Broker, the original primary's pluggable database's datafiles are deleted.

Why should ORACLE delete files during switchover? Am i missing any steps?

Below errors appear in the Standby Alert log after Switchover
