How do you run AFPASSWD on the dbTier, and can it be scripted?

Hi,

I am looking at using AFPASSWD instead of FNDCPASS in my automated cloning scripts (R12.1.3). Every document or blog on the subject of AFPASSWD proudly announces that the new utility can now be run on the dbTier as well as the appsTier. Problem is, no one has taken the trouble to explain how. The utility does not seem to exist on my dbTier. Has anyone managed to find and run it? If so, did you also manage to run it in a script? I've tried on the appsTier, where scripting with FNDCPASS works OK, but AFPASSWD isn't happy with it.
