Concatenation and documentation

Report writing beginner here....

1) How do I concatenate mcu + . + object + . + sub? I'm writing a report that grabs from the F0901 and the user would like to see the account number together in one field.

2) where do I find the Report Writing manual? I have found the other necessary documentation for the modules we own, but I can't find the report writing one.

3) We are currently on 8.10, just beginning our upgrade process to 9.2. I found documentation for 9.1.... would those the the correct manuals? or are there updated ones for 9.2?
