How to handle leave for exempt employees on a flex schedule where hours can be leave <40 or >40
We are on R12.3, patched with RUP9.
We are on a bi-weekly payroll and Sat-Fri will be our timecard week.
We are looking at flex schedules where employees "could" work # hours one week and a different number of hours the 2nd week. (ie; 36 hrs / 44 hrs ... or 30 hrs / 50 hrs).
Actual time worked and leave taken is entered into OTL timecards.
Currently, time that is transferred to Payroll via "Transfer Time from OTL to BEE". "work" time is pro-rated for exempt employees to 40 hours --- "leave" is not pro-rated.
With new flex schedules, this creates a problem if leave is taken during the week with no work hours.
