Can you load in a flat file containing many account values per row of data?

Hi, my client wants to load flat files into FDMEE with a number of account values per row of data (so the account columns would be defined beforehand in FDMEE with e.g. Account 1 or column 5, account 2 on column 6, etc).  Is this possible and if so, is it recommended? Many thanks
