Analyzing a JDE installation

Hi community,

I'm taking over the administration of a live 9.1 installation and I need to analyze the current JDE situation. I'm looking for any tips I should have in mind, or questions I should ask, basic configuration I should check, or anything which could help me to broadly understand the current installation situation.
