Defaulting Rule and other defaulting options

In DR, we have defaulting rule as a feature. Does this conflict with other defaulting options that we had before this feature. Like profile options, Repair Type setups etc.

For Ex: Price list- it can come from contract or CSD profile and now Defaulting Rule. What precedence doe Defaulting rule take? or it overrides everything and takes 1st precedence?
