Should use JDK 7 or JDK 8 for forms 11.1.2.2

I am installing forms/reports 11.1.2.2 and found JDK 8 is not certified with it. Should I still use JDK 7 only for this reason, which is certified ? What is Oracle's recommendation in this case ?

FYI. Forms on

Linux x86-64

Redhat EL 6

Weblogic 10.3.6
