Seeking a procedure for an internal Drive replacement Sun Fire X220 M2 Server

edited Sep 29, 2016 5:00AM in Oracle Solaris System Administration (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I replaced the internal sata drive, but now I can't get the drive seen by Solaris (controller not seeing new disk).  Any idea on how to fix this?  I rebooted the server several time.

Before Drive Replacement:

# echo | format

Searching for disks...done
