encrypting APPLSYSPUB password env variable (GWYUID) in r12.2.5

Hi,

We are in the process of setting up a new EBS r12.2.5 install (on OEL6), and based on the Secure Configuration Guide for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12

and MOS Doc 420205.1, we want to improve security around the APPLSYSPUB user. MOS Doc 420205.1 mentions that there is a security patch that was released for 11i/r12.1 that allows the GWYUID environment variable to be encrypted. I expected that this patch would be included in the base release of r12.2, though when I check the environment variable I can see that it is still in plain text.

Is there a profile option or Context File change that encrypts the GWYUID environment variable? I have searched through all the relevant MOS docs I can find, but I cannot find the steps to do this anywhere.
