FA generate accounts program fails for a book as one of natural account is disabled.

FA generate accounts program fails for a book as one of natural account is disabled. Accounts
are set at Book Controls in setup. I need to know in case , I will have to replace
the disabled  the accounts with correct one, what care needs to take before replacement? do we need to check what
are pending transactions that needs to be care, may be need to be verified before any change.
