Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Does "Allow Purge" in the book control allows us to purge FA data?

Hi

i recently had an issue with my asset book where i accidentally loaded in my FA data without closing period up to current month.

Then we had to retire all the assets and load fresh data in.

The problem with this is that, the retired assets will always be there. Is there a way to clean the whole book and load again?

Does the allow purge check box clears the FA data for that specific book? If yes how do i go about it?
