Possible custom Filename+Extension when Bursting ?

Hello,

Is it possible to specify in BIP when Bursting, a file extension which differs from what Oracle could expect in the output format ?

I.E : Somethign that does not repecte : ETEXT > .txt, PDF > .pdf, Word > .rtf ...

How can this be achieved in a oneshot BI Publisher Bursting process ?

Tool Version : Oracle BIEE - 11.1.1.7.150120

For the moment we cannot achieve this. The ETEXT file extension is always dictated by BIP OUTPUT_FORMAT.

The extension is appended to the FILENAME (PARAMETER2 in EMAIL BURSTING for example) when the last characters of the FILENAME are not what Oracle BIP expects for extension.
