Requester vs Receiver

Hello,

For Peoplesoft, does anyone know if there are best practices or any audit concerns setting  Requestors up as Receivers as well? i.e.. a Requester should not receive their own items.

I'm being told this is a poor practice by our Security team, but was hoping to find some documentation supporting that.
