spacewalk remote oracle DB issue

I recently setup a Spacewalk 2.4 server with a local Oracle XE DB. I ran out of space, so my DBA created an instance with Ora 11g standard edition on a remote server. I have been working with oracle support to remedy this, but no luck. Am I missing a config setting or is there something else I am missing?  Thanks ... randy_mather@bobevans.com
