Using DSI and R31802A at the same time?

We experience bug 19049225 on a regular basis because we run R31082A while manufacturing.  When it happens, we get mismatched entries in the Cardex and F0911.  We are a 24x7 operation and we don't have a good time when manufacturing operations cease long enough to run R31802A.  Some of our locations run the UBE daily, and DSI is being used 24 hours a day.  We don't always lose F0911 records, but we do often enough to cause issues.  Support says we should just not use DSI when R31802A is running, but turning off DSI completely isn't an option.

We read in the bug that a customer has coded their own fix for the issue, but support won't tell us what they did, or who they are.
