How to Post a Journal between BSV assigned under Ledger and BSV assigned under Legal Entity

Hi,

We are in the process of upgrading from 11.5.10.2 to R12.2.4 and one of our UAT user tested the below scenario in our UAT environment:-

Ledger:- USD Ledger

Legal entity:- Corporation. BSV assigned to it is 010

BSV assigned directly under USD ledger:- 067 (Note:- This is not a real legal entity and hence not assigned to any LE under any ledgers).

Intercompany and Intracompany balancing rules are all setup.

I passed the below journal entry:-

010............. Dr 100

067................Cr 100

When i try to post the journal, Posting program is erroring out with message "Intercompany posting error"

When i raised Oracle SR, oracle says that its a intended functionality and i cannot pass a journal between BSV assigned under Ledger and BSV assigned under Legal entity.
