acfs diskgroup addition or resize

Hi ,

We have a diskgroup of 500GB of which we carved out a volume and ACFS filesystem of the same size.

We want  the filesystem  increase the size of it to 1TB .

Can you please let me know if adding one more disk and then resizing it will be a better idea or extending the current diskgroup.

Also is it an online or offline operation and a brief step. Thanks.
