Need help on how to alter the value in the UI for Order Item XA

Hi

i understand taht in the ui the value field is map to the value in the BC which is a calc field. my concern is how does it derive the value? I know it comes from the column field char_val, date_val and numeric val but i cant seem to find the configuration for it. Also when the product have lookup value it displays whats configured in the product instead of char_val/numeric/date
