Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Implementing Oracle EBS Payroll without Oracle Financials

Hi, we are implementing EBS Payroll for a client who does not have/will not be using Oracle Financials.

As we will then create a custom interface to their existing GL system, my questions are:

* Is there still a requirement to run the 'Transfer to GL' process at the end of a payroll cycle?

* And if so, how can I map the GL Flexfield to the payroll, when there is no existing 'Ledger'... Or, how can I create the Ledger?
