How to lock the period in HFM 11.1.2.4 version

Hi

i am not able to lock the period in HFM Workspace in 11.1.2.4 version, previously i used to lock the periods individually and wholly through FDM in 11.1.2.1 version, so that the users cannot able to upload the data file after locking period...

Now i need to know how to lock the period for a particular entity in HFM (FDMEE)11.1.2.4 so that i can control the end users access after the due date....

Please help...
