Server Hardware Refresh

Our Oracle Servers hardware are near the end of life span and we need to refresh them with new hardware.  We have both Oracle Restart and Oracle RAC servers. All the Oracle databases are on ASM.

We do not want to use expdp/impdp or rman clone/duplicate as we have 500 databases and we do not have man power to do all of them this year if we would choose those time consuming approach.  I am looking for processes that will be low risk and with no downtime or very minimum downtime.  Some ideas we have at this point:

1) For Oracle Restart, shutdown all the Oracle resources on the server, take a netapp snapshot and copy that to the new server.  Restart all the Oracle resources on the new server.  Will that be possible with ASM?
