adding partitions to table replicated vi streams

Hello team,

we are using a 10.2.0.3 database in a Linux box. There are some partitioned tables (RANGE,HASH) replicated via streams from another database.

We must add partitions (or split) to these tables.

Our question is: Is it necessary to stop streams?

In a test environment the process of adding partitions with the streams working to these tables works fine, but is there anything more to consider?
