Returned Requisition maintains old commitment

A PO was created from an approved requisition created from iProcurement.  The requester found that they had used the wrong GL coding.  The buyer cancelled the PO and returned the PR.

After changing the GL coding an encumbrance remained on the old coding along with the new coding entered.Is this a bug or an attended consequence?
