BIP upgrade from 11.1.1.7.0 to 11.1.1.9.0

HI All

We are have installed only BI publisher 11.1.1.7.0. planning for Upgrade from 11.1.1.7.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 (only BI Publisher) component.

Could you please let us know what process needs to be followed.

1) If there is a patch which can upgrade 11.1.1.7.0 to 11.1.1.9.0. Then what about rcu repository. Does that needs to be upgraded or not. if yes then how?

2) Do we need to explicitly install a fresh copy of 11.1.1.9.0 on new server and then follow in place upgrade methodology. If yes Please mention steps in sequential order.
