GL source system currency rate type setup question in ARM

Hello,

Currently we import GL balances from EBS into ARM including exchange rate. Below is our current rate type setup in ARM:

rate type setup (Manage-> System Settings -> Currency)

In the “Rate Types” tab:

  • Rate Type:   Mid-Month 
  • Source System:   <EBS source system name here>
  • Source System Rate Type:  Period End
  • From FDMEE:  checked

Several months later we will start to import GL balances rom Fusion including exchange rate instead of from EBS source.  Is it correct that I can add Fusion
rate types by giving a different rate type name without deleting EBS rate type setup? If I delete the previous EBS rate type, I am afraid the exchange rate history data imported rom EBS will be deleted too. Could you please advise?
