Cycle count

Hello

I have a question on the cycle count

if I use ABC analysis - and I just want to do a manual count .. so autoschedule is off.

If I regularly have new items created in inventory

what is the best way to run a cycle count .. I want to do my cycle count based on eg Subinventory

it is not clear to me what the impact is if I create a new compile every month and setup a new cycle count  from scratch

or if I just do a new abc compile and link this new abc compile to my assignment group ... (see screenshot attached)
