Data Pump Import space issue

I cannot find anyone who is having similar issues.

We use data pump to refresh environments. Source schema is about 300GB (DATA). DP export works fine. Import works fine but the data when imported has 'grown' to over double the size. I can find no explanation why this is the case - All tablespace settings / table storage parameters are the same as far as I can see between source and target databases.  Blksize is the same.

In one table average rows per block in source is 51 whilst in the target environment this has dropped to 16 rows per block and I can find no reason why this should happen.
