Goldengate DDL replication (12.1.0.2 )

Are there any gotchas associated with adding DDL replication ? We have 4 way , bi-directional replication today - which includes conflict resolution on certain tables and general exception handling for the rest.

Our users would like to propose configuring to allow truncate commands ?

We believe doing so will over-complicate the environment.  Are there additional troubleshooting problems?

Has anyone done similar ?
