API to delete EAM preventive maintenance schedules

We have loaded Preventive maintenance schedules for hundreds of assets. Now we have come to know wrong data had been given. So we have to first delete/remove the PM schedule dates and then add new correct schedule dates. We have come across an API EAM_PMDEF_PUB but it is only for creation/update and not for delete. So Is there an API for that for the same.
