Media Object spacing with Active X turned off

We are currently testing to use chrome instead of IE for interfacing with JDE.  Since chrome does not work with Active X, it was turned off, so now media objects will create as HTML.  I've tried creating a table to copy and paste to create a media object template, but it takes the condensed table and makes it into a much larger table.  It seems to double space between lines and even within a given cell.  Has anyone else found a solution for this spacing issue when Active X controls are turned off?  I am currently on JDE 9.2 with
