Usage Item on a Sales Order to create the counter instances in Service Contracts
Hi team... another $1M question
Is there a way to create a Sales Order with the following configuration:
1.1 IB Item <-- This is a trackable item, will create an IB Instance when line progressed and IB Interface run.
1.1.1 SVC1 <-- This is a service item to cover line 1.1, this should create a Service contract with a line for the service covering a product (IB) for line 1.1
1.1.2 SVC2 <-- This is a service that is associated to a counter template belonging to a counter group. The template is defined to have a Usage item (USGITEM1)
here is the question...
How do we include the usage item (USGITEM1) in the sales order so it is related to the appropriate Service line / item (SVC2) so we can use the counters to bill based on usage for the counter attached to SVC2?
