Support of EBS 12.1

Dear Oracle Support Team,

I'm working as Oracle DBA and I support Oracle products implemented in my Company.

One of the products is EBS 12.1.

I would like to know if Oracle planned to discontinuing support of EBS 12.1 and when.

I heard that Oracle is going to discontinuing support in December, 2016.

Is it true and if we need to implement version 12.2 of EBS?
