Convert P&L Data into Balance Sheet Data

Greetings,

we're on 11.2.2.x Essbase

we get P&L data coming into our Balance Sheet database. Users now want to see movements per month instead of activities.  This a temporary 'fix' until we can get the GL extract to provide the data as intended.  Example below shows the movement per month on the BS row and is what the users are looking for.  If we wanted to keep this within an Essbase Calc script for the time being, what would be the best approach to getting the BS data - would something like this be sufficient?
